A legacy,
re‑stitched
for today.
Yesterday, it was a family cloth store on a quiet lane. Today, it's Dharniya — a new generation reweaving the Bagalbandhi into something the world can wear.
It started with Shyam Cloth Store.
Long before Instagram reels and drop calendars, there was a small cloth store where fabric was folded by hand, and every buyer was greeted like family.
That store belonged to Mr. Shyam Agrawal — the quiet root of everything Dharniya has become.
For decades, it was a name whispered from one loyal customer to another. A trusted address for weddings, festivals, and the everyday textures of Indian life.
Then the new generation picked up the needle.
Born in Vrindavan, raised on Delhi University lectures, ISKCON kirtans and late-night guitar chords, the next generation looked at the family legacy and asked one simple question.
So we rebuilt it from the thread up. Same soul, sharper silhouettes. Traditional cuts, conscious fabrics and timeless craftsmanship designed with nazakat and shraddha.
Three hands, One thread.
The people rebuilding the loom — from Vrindavan, Delhi, and Kathmandu.
